DSR Program Guidelines
The Distributor Service Rep Program (DSR) is a signature manufacturer’s program of Allied Air Enterprises. As the business has grown, so has the need to raise the level of support provided to HVAC contractors throughout North America. The purpose of this program is to train technical distributor employees to be field technical experts on the Allied Air product and provide them with the resources needed to be the best technical support in their region, enabling DSRs with the ability to quickly support customers locally.
It is Allied Air’s goal to be the best supported product in the HVAC industry, and together with DSRs we’ll accomplish this goal and keep your customers coming back to you.
LEVEL IV
REQUIREMENTS
- CFC Type II or higher, Red Seal Refrigeration certification, or Journeyman for Canadian DSRs
- Minimum 12 years field technical HVAC industry experience
- Minimum 5 years advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution experience
- Must complete to satisfaction all assigned Allied Air Academy training
- Must train 15 classes (minimum 6 technicians/installers per class) and a minimum of 90 people annually
- Must register training on the DSR Portal for credit
- Must have active and maintain your DSR Portal profile
- Must attend at least ten Allied Air sponsored training
- Must attend DSR Technical Training Conference
- Must be willing to create or present training if asked
- Complete all requirements each year to avoid demotion
BENEFITS
- All benefits of Level I, II, and III
- Up to $5,000 per year in co-op funding for training lab & materials
> Can only be granted after all other requirements have been filled - Ability to attend Allied Air Red Carpets at 100% co-op reimbursement
- Equipment replacement after 3 mechanical failures at DSR discretion
> ERF required
LEVEL III
REQUIREMENTS
- CFC Type II or higher, Red Seal Refrigeration certification, or Journeyman for Canadian DSRs
- Minimum 8 years technical HVAC industry experience, 5 years must be field technical
- Minimum 3 years advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution experience
- Must complete to satisfaction all assigned Allied Air Academy training
- Must train 10 classes (minimum 6 technicians/installers per class) or 60 people annually
- Must register training on the DSR Portal for credit
- Must have active and maintain your DSR Portal profile
- Must attend at least ten Allied Air sponsored training
- Must demonstrate intent to level up before demotion or removal from program
BENEFITS
- All benefits of Level I and II
- Distributor ability to sell SystemShield
- Up to $2,000 per year in co-op funding for training lab & materials
- Can only be granted after all other requirements have been filled
- Ability to attend Allied Air Red Carpets at 100% co-op reimbursement
- Equipment replacement after 3 mechanical failures with Allied approval

LEVEL II
REQUIREMENTS
- CFC Type II or higher, Red Seal Refrigeration certification, or Journeyman for Canadian DSRs
- Minimum 5 years HVAC industry experience, 3 years must be field technical
- Must complete to satisfaction all assigned Allied Air Academy training
- Must have active and maintain your DSR Portal profile
- Must attend at least ten Allied Air sponsored training
- Must demonstrate intent to level up before demotion or removal from program
BENEFITS
- All benefits of Level I
- Ability to attend Allied Air Red Carpets at 100% co-op reimbursement
- Ability to double the standard labor concession time for warranty

LEVEL I
REQUIREMENTS
- CFC Type II or higher, or RSES or related affiliations
- Minimum 2 years HVAC industry experience
- Must complete to satisfaction all assigned Allied Air Academy training
- Must have active and maintain your DSR Portal profile
- Must attend at least ten Allied Air sponsored training
- Must demonstrate intent to level up before demotion or removal from program
